Hall of Fame Guidelines

ASHTABULA COUNTY BASKEBALL FOUNDATION Hall of Fame Inductee Guidelines Must have a completed nomination form submited for consideration.

Ashtabula County Basketball Player

 Who graduated from an Ashtabula County High School

 Who graduated at least 20 years ago for boys and 15 years ago for girls

 Who made significant contributions to Ashtabula County Basketball

 Who has proven to be a person of good character and citizenship

 Who made valuable contributions to his/her team Ashtabula County Coach

 Who coached in Ashtabula County for at least five (5) years

 Who has been retired for at least five (5) years

 Who has proven to be a person of good character and citizenship

 Who made significant contributions to Ashtabula County basketball Significant Contributors (Boosters, doctors, parent volunteers, media personnel, officials, etc.)

 Who made significant contributions to Ashtabula County basketball

 Who has proven to be a person of good character and citizenship Screening Procedures

 All nominations will be reviewed by the Hall of Fame Committee

 Selection of current year’s class will be by February 1st Removal

 Removal from the Hall of Fame shall be on a unanimous vote at the discretion of the Hall of Fame Board of Directors

 Hall of Fame members must be a positive role model, worthy of being emulated by current and future students and members. It is the Hall of Fame’s responsibility to maintain a watch of all Hall of Fame members and to remove any member who fails to maintain the standards
